hi to every 1 first id like to introduce my self im mick 27 from glasgow, im pleased to find a sight with people who have the same condition as me , now i will tell you how and when i9 was diagnoised and how it afects me and hopefully it will help other im open to questions and any info i can give i will, ok here it goes when i was a boy i was alwwys taller than any 1 my age wich didnt cause any concern when i was about 16 i went for an eye test at my local optican and to there amazment they found i couldnt see out my left eye i presume it must have been like this all my life cause i didnt notice, i was then seen by eye specialits and they told me i might hsve marphans wich never got followed up and i didnt do anything a bout it as i dint know what it was at the age of 19 my lung collapsed 2 time and on the second time had an op to seal the lung to my chest i thinkits called talcd and went on enjoying life as normal my back was sore and in mornings it took about half hr to get up due to pain wich i just presumed was normal how ever when i was 22 i was at work and something in my body didnt feel right so went to hospital who told me it was food poising on several visits over a coures of 4-5 weeks i then made an apointment with my gp who listend to my heart and sent me for a scan and the descoverd that i had an aortic anurisem wich needed opp wich they done succesfuly and i have had part of the root replaced to. iam on warfran and 2.5 bisop,and omeprazol,and on pain killers 30/500 wich to be honest dont touch the pain on my bad days but im in a catch 22 with being on warfran and i dont want it afecting my inr, after my opp i was determind to go bk to work wich i did i became a taxi driver for 3years but i had to give it up sept last year i now stay at home and on incapacity benifit i have tryd to get dla to no avail i took it to appeal and got knock back basicaly because i didnt play up to them but i do belive i have a disability . i would like to say to eveyrone out there who is waiting for opp you will come through the othere end and if i can help to anserw any questions feel fre to ask, ps sorry for spelling mistooks lol
